This portico was framed over an existing stone Patio (with new support footings) on fiberglass support columns. The flat roof (slightly pitched) was covered with a rubber membrane. Steel supports were added to the top to stabilize the structure. Cement board trim was used around the perimeter and pine boards formed the underside.
